Okay. We decided to go through Oklahoma after all. So tonight we are just south of OK City! Tomorrow's drive should be quicker for sure. We are looking at getting a good night's rest and a fresh start in the AM.

Cheers.

Guero's is on the aforementioned stretch of S. Congress known as SoCo. Definitely worth hanging around in that area.

Alamo Draft House is a fun place -- a movie theater featuring mostly indie films and classics but set up w/ conference-style tables on every row -- and a full-service restaurant. Have a beer and pizza while you watch a show!

If you like steaks, Hoffbrau on 6th St. is an Austin tradition. No menus. Server will tell you what steaks they have and your sides are pretty limited -- salad and fries. But for a perfectly cooked steak that hangs off the platter, this is the place to go.

While you're here, you should really drive west of town and poke around the Hill Country a bit. We'll try to keep the bluebonnets blooming for you.

See you soon!

Wow, have a nice trip! :-) I'm unfamiliar with that route, so can't offer any advice. Let me know if you ever head to the West coast, though!
