Thank you akaMonty. Strangers and Twilight Eyes are in the top running, as well as Fear Nothing and Seize the Night. I'm leaning towards those at this writing as they are a pair of books.

What I'll do is draw names for the folks that recommended the same book as I chose. Set someone up with a $10 gift certificate on Amazon.

I have to tell you that my PERSONAL all time Koontz favorite is Strangers. Twilight Eyes is a close second. Then the Chris Snow books, Fear Nothing & Seize The Night. But I love 'em all. I'm eagerly anticipating Odd Hours.

Thanks for the recommendation. Life Expectancy is not one I'd heard recommended before. I'm going to read the bits on Amazon as well.

Life Expectancy is a little bit different, but I think if you enjoyed the Odd series, you'll enjoy that one. It's got a little twist to his typical style, but Koontz nonetheless.

Then Koontz is a good choice. I don't remember what I have read by him off the top of my head. I'll give it some thought and let you know. I think one was Dragon Tears

I've read lots of Stephen King in my time. Read some of his earliest work and some of his more recent stuff as well. Almost always a good time there.
I'm looking to explore some other authors in that genre.

I am a huge Stephen King fan. Have you read much of his work? I like Koontz too, but SK is The Man!
