The Quarter Century Couple

Yep, it’s us. Um, you don’t know us?

My wife, Nanna J, and I are coming up on our 25th wedding anniversary in April of this year. It’s exciting.

The problem we’re having is what to do for it. We are looking for ideas that are also affordable for the occasion.

We are definitely considering doing our vows again. We are not sure about doing a big ceremony though.

Maybe another honeymoon?

Ideas? Help?!

Cheers,

  • Wow Todd, 25 years? AMAZING! Congrats to you and your lovely bride. So nice to see you both so happily smiling after all these years!

    Here's to 25 more!
  • Thanks Phil. It's been a ride for sure and we are looking for another 25 ahead.
  • how about you plan a list of 25 things you like to do together, or would like to, and complete it on your special day or over a long weekend? You know your favorite foods, favorite park to take a walk in, favorite theater to see a show, favorite friends to visit, favorite hotel, favorite city

Regardless of what you do I hope you all have a wonderful anniversary!
  • Robyn, what a great idea, 25 things. :)
I'm showing this to my wife for sure.
  • Jay
Go big! Do it up all over again. Get married again, have a great honeymoon. We (My wife Tina and I) wanted to renew our vows every 5 years- did not happen on 5 but we are definitely doing it at 10. 25 is huge and you can tell in the post the love is even stronger now than when you got married- that deserves a huge celebration!!
  • I've not idea how we'll be blessed to celebrate it. Money is much tighter this year than in the past.

That aside, it's a blessing all its own, and we are pleased to have made it this far.
  • Congratulation! We only have 20 to go to equal you!
  • Thanks Cristian! Twenty-five is one of those things you just wake up on one day. It's wild. :)
  • Wow twenty-five years, congratulations to the both of you! Another honeymoon definitely sounds in order! Enjoy. ;)
  • Thank you Glenda. It's been interesting for sure.
Honestly, we'll be glad if we just make dinner and a movie. It's such a blessing to be in such a long term relationship.
