As Twitter becomes overrun by the masses, the focus on off line celebrities seems to be drowning out the folks we know and love. Gone are the days where Chris Brogan and Robert Scoble are celebrities. They are now being replaced with the likes of Ashton and Oprah.

Sigh.

  • I never needed to be the celebrity of Twitter, but I do feel for the fact that the voice of the average person is now several notches quieter. Oh well, we can opt in the way we want.
  • Chris, that wasn't meant as a slam so much to acknowledge that your celebrity status, whether intentional or not. Now we have folks with built in celebrity status leveraging that into social networking, and sadly, others claiming victory on their behalf.
