Today was our first St. Louis Bring a tweep to lunch gathering. Half a dozen of us gathered at Dickey’s in Olivette, Mo. It was Friday and a great way to kick off the beginning of summer.

Of course Twitter came up, but just as much work, the weather, and somehow, my hats. it seems that a couple of them expected me to show up in my latest hat. It’s the one being used for my current Twitter avatar.
Sadly that wasn’t the case, though I did wear a hat, my SxSW 09 hat.
Lunch was more than I could finish. I noted that most of the rest of us finished their dinner. None of us opted for any dessert.
The plan is to organize more Bring Your Tweeps To Lunch events, likely on Fridays. I’m on summer hours, meaning half day Fridays for a while. Go me.
