Do you ever review your new followers

Yep, seeing traffic is usually a good sign to follow, but I do that without follower notifications.

I went with four or more because that is how it seems to happen, although I wish I was faster. I intend to do it same day, but other things always seem to take a priority, then the number of new followers becomes bigger than just a few minute job, and well, the whole situation just compounds itself from there.

Interesting question. There is an answer not represented which is how I do it. When I see traffic to me from someone following me, then I check.

I ususally do that the nest day, but sometimes if I see more than 5 new followers I am more interested.
