Hey Todd,
I love origami. I have a couple calendars that I bought, those page a day kind, that have a different paper design and a different animal/plant/whatever every day also. I've always been interested in it. I have several books, and different sizes paper. My two favorite things to make are the useful ones - a cup, and a corner-of-the-page bookmark.

Chris

I love origami that requires more than one piece of paper. One of my favorite modular patterns is the Japanese Brocade. http://jeannetteeatsspaghetti.blogspot.com/2008...

I own quite a few origami books and, by far, the best is The Origami Handbook by Rick Beech. It has actual step-by-step photos making even the most difficult patterns easy to assemble -- even if you are quite inexperienced.
http://www.amazon.com/Origami-Handbook-Paperfol...
