My favorite thing about the Sookie Stackhouse novels is the depiction of Southern life.

My favorite vampire series so far is the Twilight Saga. I like the mix of vampires and romance. I'd definitely like to check out these books though- I've heard great things about them.

I haven't read the Sookie novels, but I have enjoyed Laurell K. Hamilton's Anita Blake series, and I love what Nancy Haddock is doing with Cesca Marinelli in her St. Augustine vampire series.

The Twilight Series are the only vampire books I've read. I'm a little obsessed. I even named my son Cullen. I also watch The Vampire Diaries and think I'm going to sink my teeth into that series soon!
