No escaping Superbowl Sunday.  This year it’s the Saints versus the Colts.  Not being a football expert, let alone Superbowl, I don’t have anything to write about.  I do have questions though.

Who is your favorite player on the rosters today?

What are you serving for Superbowl chow?

Which team are you rooting for?

This book claims to be the Ultimate Superbowl Book.  The reviews are positive and it’s current.  I’m no sports fanatic though.  Alternately, if you’re the winner and not a sports fan either, I’ll provide a $15.00 Amazon gift certificate.

    It's so nice of you to offer this! Honestly, I hate football. I've never understood it, and it looks gratuitously violent and dangerous to me. The fake psychologist in my brain tells me its appeal to guys has to do with vicariously getting out aggression they're not allowed to express, or something, but I truly don't know why the SB has evolved into sort of a national holiday. I ignore it. And I, too, would love the Amazon GC if I'm lucky enough to win. Thanks for the chance!!
  • If it were me, I'd go for the GC. I don't really enjoy the games generally though some plays are epic.

    My wife is the sports nut. :)

    Yeah, my choice is based largely on familiarity as well. I'm in the minority here though, 'cause there's not much love for "the professional football team from Indianapolis" in these here parts. ;-)

    Mmm...good ol' delicious comfort foods. I'd gladly take those over the traditional Super Bowl finger foods.
