Landmarks, synonymous with St. Louis. Home to The Arch, The Hill, and yes, The Tivoli, St. Louis is a wealth of history and landmarks to prove it. Forging ahead though, St. Louis is becoming a hot bed of social media and networking.
Blogging really brings that to light. Sharing some of those blogs is my pleasure this evening. Following are three posts by locals focused on social networking. One describes a recent Twitter networking event, the second demonstrates the slew of events ongoing in St. Louis, and the third is a how to and rehash of one man’s guide to throwing a Twitter event.
Small Town Girl’s Guide blog – Milli, part time new media professional, reviews a recent Twitter event, aka tweetup, held a a new pub in town.
The Saint Louis Social Media & Tech Report – Greg, local businessman and blogger, runs down the top stories in Saint Louis with a focus on networking events, especially new media events.
/(p[eu]rls of wisdom)?/ – Timothy, a British transplant to St. Louis and uber geek about town, shares his formula for a successful tweetup. More than just a couple of rules, Timothy walks us back through his first three events and their success.
Hat’s off to my fellow St. Louisans!
St. Louis may not be a town you’ve visited but we’ll be danged if you don’t hear about us.
