Mike Colón The Seven Workshop Hawaii Scholarship

Who do YOU want to win Mike’s Scholarship Giveaway for The Seven Workshop Hawaii?

That’s the question Mike asks on his blog. He’s giving away two scholarships to his The Seven Workshop in Hawaii.

One of our local St. Louis photographers, Raquita Henderson, is in the running for the scholarship.  How can you help? You can give her your vote through Friday evening this week.

Visit Mike’s blog and scroll down. Click next to Raquita’s picture and roll down a bit more and click the vote button. You’ll be glad you did.

Raquita is the genius behind Pixnit Photography. She is the go-to photographer for boudoir, wedding and other portrait photography in St. Louis.

If you’re local to St. Louis, please drop by Mike’s blog and vote for Raquita. Send one of our own to Hawaii.

Facebook Site Governance Vote on Facebook

Facebook Site Governance Vote on Facebook: “On February 26, Facebook announced plans to make site governance more transparent and democratic. Since that time, users and experts around the world have been providing comments on the new documents Facebook proposed to govern the site and replace the existing Terms of Service – the Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and Facebook Principles. Facebook has read the comments on these documents and has revised the documents based on this feedback. Now, please vote to let Facebook know which documts you think should govern the site.
To be notified about future proposed changes to the documents governing Facebook, please become a Fan of the Facebook Site Governance Page .”

This is something new. Facebook is asking its users to get involved and set some policy. They’ve done this before but mostly in reaction to gross changes they’ve made.

Beyond the voting button you’ll find the options:

Which will you chose? What’s your opinion? Should they change?

I’ll reserve sharing my thoughts till after the votes are in.
